How does Botox® work?
Botox® is derived from Clostridium Botulinum Toxin Type A and is manufactured by Allergan. Very low doses of Botox® Cosmetic are administered
via a few tiny injections directly into the muscles responsible. By blocking the release of the chemical that causes these muscles to contract, Botox® enables them to relax, so the skin appears smoother. You will still show expression-smile, frown, or look surprised. This injection is a simple outpatient procedure and is virtually painless. The results may last as long as six months and is used to treat horizontal forehead lines, frown lines, and crow’s feet. 
Another fantastic benefit of Botox® Cosmetic is that it is also used to treat severe primary axillary hyperhidrosis (excessive underarm sweating).
